Talk Tech to Me 2022

15/09 - 29/09

Candidates believe that many IT recruiters don't even bother to read their Linkedin profile before sending them an InMail... They say they don't always receive feedback...Or they don't trust HR people's abilities to decide if a candidate is fit for a certain role.

Hiring managers, on the other side, are asking for faster, better and more recruitment processes.

Many recruiters are learning by doing, often times on the go. As an IT recruiter, you keep learning with every new vacancy that you work to cover. You never stop having those "aha" moments whenever a new piece is adding to the puzzle. Your colleagues, candidates and Google are probably your best trainers in uncovering the secrets of IT recruitment.

At least they used to be. Until now.

During the 18 hours of training in Talk Tech to Me, we push the gas pedal and build an environment in which you'll learn as much as for one year on the job.

We arrange together the pieces of a huge puzzle (the IT ecosystem for which we recruit), as we've uncovered it ourselves during the 25 years of combined experience in HR.

What's in it for you?

Upon completing the Talk Tech to Me program, you will:

  • Have gained a complete and clear picture of the IT universe, from technologies to roles, with all their intricacies and dependencies. This will serve as a solid layer on which you will continue to add, in time, more concepts and technologies.

  • Be able to screen effectively the CV's you receive or the profiles you analyze while doing direct search.

  • Gain access to a toolbox that you can use on a daily basis for your technical sourcing, reaching out to passive candidates.

  • Have a stronger impact in your written (job ads, hooks and messages) and your verbal interactions with the tech candidates.

  • Grow more confident making informed decisions related to the recruitment processes that you manage.

About the trainers

We are Madalina and Bogdan Dragoescu, partners in business and in life - we've been working in HR and recruitment for the last 15 years, in a mix of professional and social experiences that have shaped who we are today.

In 2016 we've established Itworx, our own IT recruitment agency - we partner with tech companies and candidates for any role in the technology realm. We';ve successfully covered 300+ tech roles that our partners in IT have trusted us to deliver.

We've worked as part of the HR teams of multinational or local companies in Telecom, IT and Insurance and we understand the need to raise the bar on quality of recruitment and bring in talents to sustain the business strategy.

We've spent many years in recruitment agencies, on small and big projects, permanent or temp recruitment, for local or international customers, holding specialist or management roles. We've been into recruitment, recruitment marketing, business development and operations management, delivering excellence to our customers.

We've been part of software implementation teams and have worked alongside IT teams to drive the HR digital agenda.

We're passionate about technology and sourcing. We keep investing in our continuous development, we learn the programming ABCs, we talk with the experts, we're connected into the global tech sourcing communities, we follow the trends and keep testing new tools.

Participants

The 18 hours of training will walk you through a great deal of concepts and technologies, getting quite intense at times. We've listed a few eligibility criteria to allow all participants to achieve their learning goals:

- English - at least intermediate level - all materials and documentation have been designed in English. Many exercises (read & develops job ads, read&understand Linkedin profiles, etc) require a good level of English understanding. Group discussions and training will be in Romanian though.

- Previous experience as a recruiter (in a recruitment department, agency or as a freelance recruiter anywhere in Romania). Ideally you have already faced the challenges of IT recruitment. Alternatively, you are passionate about technology and want to step into the IT recruitment world.

- Romanian speaker (the course will be held in Romanian).

If you have a gap on any of the criteria above but want to take up such a program, don't hesitate to send us a note. If we have multiple similar requests, we'll organize a more customized session in the future.
