As a QA & Test Analyst, you’ll be part of a Scrum team which focuses on delivering a Big Data solution for the Anti-financial crime division of the bank. You’ll be part of an international team of developers, focusing on testing all new features via a blend of manual testing and automation.

 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

​

• Execute the test strategy: test preparation, execution, analysis and reporting

​

• Create and maintain automated test cases for the project

​

• Perform test automation execution, identifying root causes for failures

​

• Build and maintain the test case repository

​

• Use the bug tracking tools to report and track them throughout the defect lifecycle

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

​

• Solid software testing experience (a minimum of 3-4 years)

​

• At least one year of Test automation

​

• Good understanding of SQL

​

• Experience testing data intensive applications, with sophisticated backend logic and multiple data sources and integrations (preferred but not mandatory)

​

• Some experience with Java, C# or Python

​

• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as TestNG, Junit, NUnit, PyTest

​

• The curiosity and appetite to explore and understand beyond the limits of your role – business understanding, trying out new technologies or doing things differently are some of the traits we look to identify in the winning candidates.

​

Any experience testing apps built on Apache Hadoop would be a plus (but not mandatory).
