Our client is a fast growing European company operating in the digital advertising industry and holding its Technology Hub (R&D center) in Bucharest (Piata Romana).

​

The company uses algorithmic development and Machine learning technologies to broadcast ads into the online feed of millions of  readers across a number of media platforms. This creates an ecosystem where integrations, big data and performance are key.

​

We’re looking for a sharp-minded Product Owner to join this software development R&D hub and to support the product growth via:

​

• Portfolio backlog management for one or more business flows (data Services, Reporting, Ad Serving, SSI/SME);

​

• Definition and gathering of requirements for new or existing items in the R&D backlog; 

​

• Solutions to existing challenges or opportunities that are in line with the strategy;

​

• Stakeholder management on validation of requirements and solutions;

​

• Definition and design of minimum viable product increments;

​

• Research for integration with other tools or systems meant to add to the functional or non-functional requirements;

​

• Output requirements documentation with: req, MVP, FS/NFS acceptance criteria, wireframes, UI mockups, diagrams;

​

• Collaboration with the software architecture team to validate proposed solutions, agree on POC, help the team to split the feature into smaller value driven increments;

​

• User manuals and/or procedures for released features and flowless handover with operational teams.

​

 

​To perform well in the role:

​​

• You’ve been part of a software development company and have worked alongside architects and developers to grow features of a product. You have trained the ability to speak the "developer" language and found common technical grounds to grasp the minute detail. Experience in working on an web application (ideally in a product company) is a plus.

​

• You’re familiar with SQL, ideally in a big data environment;

​

• You are keen to understand how the various technology pieces of the puzzle work together. You keep an open mind and broad interest to understand technology and its moving parts. 

• Capacity to understand complex data driven systems and data flows with analytical and structured thinking.
