This is a newly created Director-level role within the Global Procurement Transformation & Remediation organization, responsible for leading a major Process Orchestration transformation programme across the entire Global Procurement function.

The role works closely with senior stakeholders across Procurement, Process, Data, Controls, Technology, and Operations globally.

The programme is currently at an early stage, with the transformation vision already established and requirements for the future solution being defined. The Transformation Program Director will take ownership of translating this vision into execution, leading the programme from strategy and design through build, deployment, adoption, and continuous optimization.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Process Orchestration Programme across Global Procurement, driving process standardization, digitization, and optimization;

  • Translate the existing transformation vision into a clear programme strategy, roadmap, delivery model, milestones, and measurable outcomes;

  • Own programme execution across strategy, design, build, deployment, and optimization, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, budget, and expected business outcomes;

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Process, Data, Controls, Technology, Operations, and Procurement to establish an integrated target operating model and effective programme governance;

  • Drive alignment across global teams, challenging priorities and decisions where necessary and ensuring that strategic objectives translate into executable initiatives;

  • Embed controls, regulatory requirements, operational risk considerations, and measurable benefits into programme design and delivery;

  • Define success metrics and provide clear, transparent programme reporting and recommendations to senior leadership;

  • Drive change adoption and continuous improvement across the Global Procurement organization;

  • Identify and promote opportunities to use AI-enabled capabilities to improve procurement processes, decision-making, user experience, productivity, and operational outcomes;

  • Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional programme setup involving internal teams, technology functions, vendors, and external delivery partners.

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

  • Significant experience leading large-scale, complex transformation programmes within Financial Services or another highly regulated global environment;

  • Director-level seniority and the ability to operate effectively with Managing Director and senior executive stakeholders;

  • Proven experience taking major transformation initiatives from strategy and design through execution, implementation, and adoption;

  • Strong knowledge of Procurement and a good understanding of procurement operating models, third-party service delivery, and front-to-back processes;

  • Experience working across complex global organizations involving multiple business, technology, operations, risk, and control functions;

  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a highly execution-oriented approach and the ability to translate strategy into practical delivery plans;

  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and networking skills, with the confidence to challenge priorities, decisions, and established approaches when required;

  • Strong leadership skills and experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, internal service providers, vendors, and external partners;

  • Experience with AI-enabled transformation, automation, or the application of AI to improve processes, decision-making, productivity, or user experience;

  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex organizational environments while maintaining momentum and delivery focus;

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to articulate complex transformation topics and recommendations to senior leadership;

  • A structured, organized, and results-oriented approach, with strong judgement, attention to detail, and a high level of personal accountability;

  • Fluency in English.

Your benefits:

  • Annual performance-based bonus;

  • Comprehensive medical care, life insurance, meal vouchers, and additional employee discounts;

  • Hybrid work model – 3 days/week in the office;

  • Flexible working hours;

  • 24 days of annual leave, plus loyalty days and bank holidays, including weekdays granted for weekend bank holidays.
