The company uses  innovative and advanced proprietary technologies that are developed by the internal software development team that is setting up a base in Bucharest to complete the one in Finland.

As a Lead Developer in the brand new Romanian team, you will have the chance leave your mark both on the technical roadmap of the products and on the software development team by:

• Contributing to software architectures and realistic plans towards developing them across the platform, but first things first: understand the current system

• Contribute to building the local software development team, by being actively involved in the tech recruitment, ramping up the team and coaching the engineers to reach their best

• Working with the other development teams and business (stakeholders) to ideate, define and implement software solutions

• Doing hands-on software development in order to lead by your own example and contribute to the achievement of team goals

• Analyzing results and making improvements continuously

This job is for you if  you have:

• Proven hands-on experience of software development:

         - Node.JS and/or  PHP / Laravel in the backend

         - React in the frontend

         - Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

         - Knowledge of cloud services

• A good understanding of Event-driven architectures (Kafka knowledge is a plus), SOLID principles, TDD, and MVCS architecture, microservices adaption

• Working experience with agile methodologies irrespective of their scale

• Experience with CI/CD systems

• Good communication skills - assertiveness is highly valued - persistence and determination in order to turns plans into functional applications

• Fluency in English as the main working language
