The company's Data platform ingests data from multiple systems, enriches it with real-time insights and transforms it into a patented Micro-Database - one for every customer, based on particular requirements.

To maximize performance, scale and security, every Micro DB is compressed and individually encrypted. It is then delivered in milliseconds to fuel quick, effective and pleasing customer interactions.

As a Tech Lead, you'll play center stage in the coordination (technical & people) for the delivery of services to one or more of the company's customers (Enterprise level). Your role will be a mix of hands on technical work, team leading and customer interaction to secure top service throughout the entire lifecycle.

Your role will be to:

• Actively participate in the development lifecycle of the Data product solution;

• Work with the Solution Architect to draft and clarify the solution design;

• Participate and lead technical sessions with customers;

• Effectively manage implementations, in line with the agreed solution design and overall approach;

• Define, assign and follow up on tasks assigned to the team;

• Use and follow the company's best practices in project implementation;

• Perform regular code reviews and give feedback to colleagues, mentoring them for improved technical standards;

• Manage project documentation (design, runbooks, etc);

• Participate in defining Statements of work (SOW) and estimates for planning;

• Provide visibility and communicate delivery targets;

• Lead and mentor team members, crafting a culture of ownership, trust and performance;

• Manage the onboarding process and track progress for new team members.

To thrive in this role, you'll need to:

• Showcase strong Java and SQL knowledge;

• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system;

• Ideally, you have worked with (or have a good understanding of) Kafka (nice to have, not mandatory);

• Familiar with scalable, distributed system architectures;

• Passionate, self starter with a can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit;

• Team player who can build strong relationships at all levels;

• Speak English at an advanced level.
