

Regional Governance Specialist - Talent Acquisition
Our partner is a well-established technology & operations center in Bucharest, part of one of the world's leading financial groups.
We're looking for a Regional Governance Specialist support Europe Talent Acquisition function by driving governance, compliance and operational excellence across countries.
You'll act as a regional advisor and control partner, ensuring alignment with global policies and regulatory requirements, while also supporting vendor management and strategic initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will revolve around:
Drive continuous education across Europe on Talent Acquisition policies and processes.
Provide expert consultation to country teams on implementing global and regional policies, as well as adapting to new or changing regulatory requirements.
Advise countries on identifying sourcing-related risks and support the development of mitigation measures.
Assist the control testing team in executing monthly and quarterly checks on recruitment, background screening, referrals, and connected candidates. Partner with countries to build and track action plans for closing governance gaps.
Support tendering processes in coordination with Vendor Management.
Set up recruitment agencies in Workday for countries without access rights.
Act as the regional representative in global and cross-functional projects.
Advise Europe teams on all matters related to talent acquisition processes, policies, and tools.
Organize and lead regular calls.
Monitor, report and follow up on diversity & inclusion metrics at the country level.
Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting.
Create and distribute helpful guides, learning bites, and process documentation.
To thrive in this role, you'll have:
A good understanding or a particular affinity with the recruitment, onboarding, background screening and hiring process & policy – represents an advantage.
Solid experience working with HR processes or/ and in risk and compliance environments in highly regulated environments.
Skilled in control testing, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Assertive and diplomatic, with the ability to mediate and influence across diverse stakeholders.
Confident in engaging with senior leadership and navigating complex discussions.
Practical and analytical mindset, with a strong focus on solutions and outcomes.
Capable of quickly understanding complex issues, exercising sound judgment, and simplifying processes for clarity and efficiency.
