Our client is an international producer of a patented software platform predicted to become number 1 technology trend in 2022 (according to Gartner), and one of the key disruptors in the Enteprrise space.

The company has a proven track record of 10+ years in the enterprise data integration and management space, growing consistently year on year and supporting Fortune 1000 customers making sense of the data (among them AT&T, Verizon, Vodafone, GlobalPayments, etc).

The company's platform processes data from multiple systems, enriches it with real-time insights and transforms it into a patented Micro-Database - one for every customer, based on particular requirements. 

To maximize performance, scale and security, every Micro DB is compressed and individually encrypted. It is then delivered in milliseconds to fuel quick, effective and pleasing customer interactions.

We're looking for SQL developers to dive into the FABRIC platform and get the data according to requirements.

You'll be working with: SQL, relational databases (PostgreSQL), but also NoSQL (Cassandra) along with technologies such as Kafka, Elastic Search, cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, etc).

As an SQL Developer, your role will be to:

• Understand the client's business behind the data and project that you'll work for (mainly telecom, but other industries are key as well).

• Design, develop, modify, debug  and maintain SQL code to meet requirements for complex queries from a multitude of data types and sources.

• Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provide fixes and workarounds and review changes.

• Create complex queries.

• You may want to de demo the software products to stakeholders.

• As you establish into the role, you'll get the support to also acquire Java knowledge and start working on various customizations needed in support of the data.

• You'll become a subject matter expert on SQL, supporting other team members  accelerate their SQL learning.

To thrive in this role, you'll need to:

• Have solid knowledge of SQL, ideally in a data intensive environment;

• Be familiar with one or more relational databases. Knowledge of NoSQL databases is also nice to have - but not mandatory, you'll be able to learn on the job;

• Demonstrate good implementation skills, taking pleasure in working with customers and stakeholders;

• Have the ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues;

• Speak English at an advanced level.
