Scrum Master (French)

Our partner is a global technology leader in the defense, aerospace, and security industry, collaborating with major enterprise clients across France on large-scale, high-complexity software projects.


The Romanian team plays a key role in these projects, providing end-to-end software engineering expertise - from architecture and development to project delivery and Agile coordination.


We are now looking for French-speaking Scrum Masters to join cross-functional development teams delivering critical enterprise and government systems in France.


You will be responsible for driving Agile excellence, ensuring collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within distributed international teams.





Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams delivering complex software systems for French clients.


  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives) ensuring active engagement and focus on delivery goals.


  • Support the Product Owner in maintaining and refining the product backlog, ensuring clear priorities and acceptance criteria.


  • Remove obstacles and impediments that block the team’s progress, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.


  • Coach team members on Agile principles, mindset, and best practices, driving accountability and ownership.


  • Collaborate closely with technical leads, project managers, and stakeholders in France to align on goals, dependencies, and delivery timelines.


  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile processes within the organization.



To thrive in this role, you will:


  • Bring 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.


  • Have a strong understanding of Agile philisophy and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS).


  • Demonstrate solid facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


  • Be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in complex, multi-site international projects.


  • Have some early experience in software delivery environments (Jira, Confluence, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines).


  • Be fluent in English and French (min. B2) – essential for daily collaboration with teams and clients in France.
