Our partner is a well reputed software development center, part of one of the world’s largest banking groups. The hub is well established in the market – it operates across various programs, delivering technology products which support the banking verticals.

As a Chapter Lead - Scrum Master, your role will be to strenghten the SM Chapter in Romania, recruiting and coordinating a team of 10-15 Scrum Masters who are supporting the various programs of the bank subsidiary in Germany.

While facilitating your own 1 or 2 squads, you will also take over people management responsibilities for the other Scrum Masters, ensuring best practice adoption and consistent ways of working across all teams.

The Scrum Masters facilitate development projects for 7 Tribes - from mobile banking, web apps to data analytics. Moreover, the bank is in the middle of a fast paced transformation, with migration to cloud and other innovative technologies that need adoption. 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• As a Chapter Lead for the Scrum Master Chapter, you'll foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that the team lives the agile values, applies agile principles and follows agreed processes and practices.

• Collaborate with Agile Coaches and other Scrum Masters or stakeholders across the organization to identify common issues, evolve best practice tools, continuously improve processes and develop people skills.

• Foster personal and professional development of your Chapter members (Scrum Masters), through empowerment and motivation;

• Take care of hiring of Scrum Masters, performance cycles and other people management activities.

• As a Scrum Master for your own squad(s), you'll collaborate with the Product Owner and agile team to ensure a heatly prioritized product backlog.

• Understand the context of teams supported, including strategic targets, delivery objectives, structure, agile framework(s), constraints, team dynamics, mindsets, human nature and technical considerations.
