As a QA Engineer, you'll be part of a Scrum team that develops a new web application in support of a very sensitive business process, allowing the company to enter, assess and exit various joint venture opportunities.

The QA efforts will mainly revolve around UI, REST integration points and databases, using a mix of manual and automated testing (if you have some Java knowledge, you'll be able to cover any gaps in automation on the job).

Your primary objective is to drive the hands-on execution of the test strategy and plan, including the test preparation, execution, analysis and reporting activities as well as creation and maintenance of automated test cases.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Define or contribute to test effort estimation based on experience, tools and historical data.

• Create test data, writing and executing of test cases.

• Design, develop and maintain test scripts, including automation of such test scripts (using Java, Selenium & Cucumber).

• Actively participate in the development and maintenance of the test case repository.

• Identifies defects based on test execution results, submits them in the bug tracking tool and tracks them throughout the defect lifecycle.

• Performs test automation executions, identifies failures' root cause analysis and compiles reports to stakeholders.

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

• Good QA knowledge - process and methodologies;

• Experience working in an Agile environment, where you've been part of a Scrum development team.

• You have some experience automating test cases using any of Java/C#/Python. Willingness to shift to Java on the role.

• Some experience with unit testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, PyTest.

• Understanding of testing across the full Software Development lifecycle.

• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.

• Fluent in English.
