We have an opportunity for a senior QA Automation Engineer or Manager to pick up a QA Automation Product Manager role whose purpose will be to manage testing automation as a product - from strategy definition, to setting goals and coordinating the QA automation team and testing efforts across the various tribes.

The company has a digital center in Bucharest that employes technology talent on three key verticals: software development, cloud & infrastructure, information security. All teams focus on delivering international products and projects to the benefit of the entire group.

The company started the development of a brand new global application that will be used by its entire user base (+50M) & customer base (1M). A distributed team is now being set up to work on the various instances of such a product.

As a QA Automation Product Manager you'll be responsible for developing the QA automation approach (strategy, technology, team, methodology) across the entire global product.

Your main responsibilities will revolve around the following:

• Make sure the testing efforts align with the overall product goals and objectives

• Work with development teams and stakeholders to secure integration of the testing process into the product development process

• Keeping testing simple to use and simple to manage, while ensuring that the product meets the testing objectives

• Work with the DevOps engineers to make sure the testing infrastructure is properly integrated with the PaaS team's pipeline and cloud resources

• Create a lean and agile QA organization, allowing for quick and efficient adaptation to the product's needs

This role is for you if you have:

• Relevant experience in QA automation, owning technical and strategical decisions that integrate the QA approach into the larger product objectives

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress. Automated tests are currently written in Java and Python

• Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI

• Familiar with product management principles and methodologies

• Strong understanding of cloud based infrastructure and services

• ISTQB or CSTE certifications are a strong plus.
