

QA Automation Engineer: Remote Romania
You have the chance to work with the European fastest growing travel software platform that has teams in Germany and Romania. The company has successfully raised a couple of investment rounds before being acquired by one of the biggest automotive groups in the world.
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to work on maintaining the bar high for quality and excellence. You will enjoy combining product development best practices with digging deep, setting up strong frameworks to prevent regressions and proactively create a landscape in which bugs are highlighted before customers face them.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Build, grow and maintain our automated test suite across mobile, frontend and backend services.
Work as a mentor, not as a tester, to help the development team think about how to prevent erroneous scenarios in their work
Help the team replicate and manage bugs across our services
Shape the quality culture at Voya that will ultimately define every interaction customers have with our products and services
Analyze and understanding quality risks
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be:
Intimately familiar with JavaScript testing frameworks like Cypress, Karma
Familiar with agile processes, motivated to pick out the most valuable user stories and the leanest solutions
Familiar with unit testing and acceptance testing
Highly committed and responsible, independent and able to take initiative and lead
Eager to learn and grow
Excellent collaboration skills, as you will work with most teams involved in the product business processes
