Our client is a European top company acting in the circular economy with operations in more than 20 countries. In order to support its business operations, the company has been developing, improving and managing its own software products with it's own development teams distributed mainly in Europe.

The Romanian software development team is involved in a new project that would help both companies and private persons easily contribute to the circular economy. The product uses web technologies (Vue.js and Symfony) and is deployed from AWS in order to use elastic resources.

The team is on a flexible hybrid work schedule at the offices located in a beautiful central area in Bucharest.

Your role as a Senior QA Automation Engineer is crucial in 3 main areas:

• hands-on testing to ensure a high quality and on time product delivery

• define and implement the QA strategy for own software products

• mentoring the new and more junior team members

Job requirements:

• Very good level of English

• Solid and substantial experience as a QA Engineer (manual and automation)

• Expertise in creating test plans and estimating test implementations

• Programming skills in PHP (vanilla or frameworks) and JavaScript (Vue.js)

Nice to have's (any of the below):

• Experience in developing end-to-end tests with Cypress

• Experience in developing end-to-end tests for Symfony

• Proficient in technical troubleshooting

• Previous practice in the Scrum framework

• Experience in developing in Python

• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills

• French language skills (or desire to learn)
