QA Automation Engineer
We have an opportunity for a QA Automation Engineer who will be the quality gatekeeper of products and services, designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
The employer (our client) is a worldwide leading services and payments organization, supporting Employee Benefits administration, Fleet & Mobility solutions and Corporate payment services across 40+ countries.
The Group brings together a unique network of 47 million employee users, 900.000 corporate clients and 1.7 million partner merchants.
The company has a digital center in Bucharest that employes technology talent on three key verticals: software development, cloud & infrastructure, information security. All teams focus on delivering international products and projects to the benefit of the entire group.
The company started the development of a brand new global application that will be used by its entire user (+50M) & customer base (1M). A distributed team is now being setup to work on the various instances of such a product.
Your main responsibilities will revolve around the following:
Design and implement test automation frameworks;
Maintain and update test automation scripts;
Troubleshoot automation issues;
Work with the DevOps engineers to make sure the testing infrastructure is properly integrated with the PaaS team's pipeline and cloud resources.
This role is for you if you have:
Relevant experience in software testing and test automation;
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress. Automated tests are currently written in Java and Python;
Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI;
Familiar with product management principles and methodologies;
Strong understanding of cloud based infrastructure and services;
ISTQB or CSTE certifications are a strong plus.
