Our partner is a global leader in intralogistics solutions and material handling equipment. The company has set up a business services center that unites professionals from Romania across a wide variety of technology and operations roles.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Consultant who will focus on SAP Project Systems (PS), Commercial Project Management (CPM), and Portfolio and Project Management (PPM), as part of a global SAP S/4HANA transformation program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a key functional expert for SAP PS, CPM, and PPM, bridging business users and technical teams, leading transformation projects and supporting migration from SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA;

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions and system configurations;

• Configure and optimize SAP PS, CPM, and PPM processes, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, portfolio management, resource management, and cost control;

• Support end-to-end project processes, including Work Breakdown Structure management, commercial project execution, financial monitoring, and project reporting;

• Participate in end-to-end project work – from requirements gathering and process design to solution implementation, testing, deployment, and support;

• Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, business stakeholders, developers, and other SAP consultant teams;

• Ensure effective integration with SAP FI-CO, SD, and MM processes;

• Provide expert consulting, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and 2nd-level support for SAP PS, CPM, and PPM solutions;

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to agile project execution;

• Support continuous process improvement and the adoption of SAP innovations across global project and portfolio management processes.

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

• Good knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS), Commercial Project Management (CPM), and/or Portfolio and Project Management (PPM);

• Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, customizing, implementation, and troubleshooting;

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects;

• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, Work Breakdown Structure management, portfolio management, and cost control;

• Good integration knowledge across SAP FI-CO, SD, and MM;

• Analytical and structured mindset, capable of translating complex business needs into scalable SAP solutions;

• Good command of English, minimum B2 level. German is a plus, but not mandatory;

• Excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a high degree of ownership and accountability.

Nice to have:

• SAP certification in PS, CPM, PPM, or S/4HANA;

• Experience with Project Builder and advanced portfolio or resource management processes;

• Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, JIRA, Confluence, or Miro.
