Our partner is a well reputed software development center, part of one of the world’s largest banking groups.

The hub operates across various programs, delivering technology products which support the banking verticals. It expands year on year, leading the bank's digital transformation and promoting its supremacy in front of its customers.

The Program Manager role coordinates all aspects (operations, people, financials) related to engineering production support services (L1-L3) for the platforms & applications in the Anti-Financial Crime division.

The support teams are distributed across geographies, half of them being located in Bucharest and the rest across US, Germany and India - a total of approx. 40 people.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Manage the daily operations of the support teams, securing excellence in production support for all platforms in the portfolio - KPIs, staffing. Some of the platforms cover case management, transaction monitoring, screening and alerting, etc.

• Manage a mix of internal and vendor teams to secure proper support across critical paths.

• Work with cross-functional roles to ensure seamles intake: readiness for production support, knowledge transfer, change management and training.

• Remove any organisational barriers that may impact the teams' performance - work with multiple structures in the bank to solve challenges of all natures.

• Manage the team's budget, including vendor budgets.

• Lead cross-divisional peer reviews and drive adoption of best practices.

• Empower, manage, coach and mentor the team, supporting career development and nurturing talent and diversity.

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

• Experience in a leadership/operations/program management role covering production support for software applications.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at all levels.

• Experience working in virtual, international and matrix organisations.

• Fluent in English.
