

Production Manager (Managed Platform as a Service)
Our client is an international producer of a patented software platform predicted to become number 1 technology trend in 2022 (according to Gartner), and one of the key disruptors in the Enteprrise space.
The company has a proven track record of 10+ years in the enterprise data integration and management space, growing consistently year on year and supporting Fortune 1000 customers making sense of the data (among them AT&T, Verizon, Vodafone, GlobalPayments, etc).
The company's platform processes data from multiple customer systems, enriches it with real-time insights and transforms it into a patented Micro-Database - one for every customer, based on particular requirements.
To maximize performance, scale and security, every Micro DB is compressed and individually encrypted. It is then delivered in milliseconds to fuel quick, effective and pleasing customer interactions.
This is a 24/7 operation that requires careful implementation and immediate reaction in case of failure. As a Production Manager for the platform operations, you'll coordinate the live production activities, engaging multiple teams such as SRE (Site Reliability) & Tier 1 & Tier 2 Support and delivering fast and effective resolution.
The role require availability to work in weekly shifts (including some nights and some weekends) - this is conceived to offer full flexibility and to allow you a perfect work - life balance.
As a Production Manager, your role will be to:
Ensure smooth operation of the company's proprietary software platform and the various ongoing customer projects.
Manage and "conduct the orchestra" of the different teams during the shift (Tier 1, Tier 2, SRE) if major incidents occur.
Make sure the teams work according to the Operational Procedures.
Carry out internal and external communications and updates, acoording to the defined SLAs.
Oversee smooth execution of all activities during the shift: project implementation, upgrades, hot fix installations, etc.
Lead the relationship between the customer and the delivery teams during incidents.
Involved in the details of each release and evaluate its impact on operations.
Interface with the customer and relevant teams in K2View during critical or high incident times.
Lead the operational roadmap involving product developments: monitoring, availability, reliability, performance.
To thrive in this role, you'll need to:
Have experience or general background in a technical environment supporting or delivering software solutions into production environments;
Problem solving capabilities, along with project and people skills;
Excellent communicator - ability to take the heat and mobilize teams around best solutions;
Available for onsite 24/7 shift work (flexible schedule);
Fluent in English.
