Product Manager (Employee / Contractor) – AdTech Platform

Our client is building a complex AdTech platform with international reach, focused on helping advertisers, partners, and operators activate data-driven campaigns across multiple industries and geographies.

The platform combines campaign management, audience intelligence, data classification, machine learning capabilities, and distribution channels such as SMS, with expansion planned into additional channels including WhatsApp and in-app advertising.

The company is now strengthening its product layer and is looking for a senior Product Manager who can take real ownership of one of two strategic platform areas: Monetisation & Growth or CDP & Data Classification.

It is a hands-on, end-to-end ownership position for someone who can operate with maturity, structure, and strong business judgement. You will work closely with product leadership, engineering, data, architecture, sales, partnerships, and external stakeholders.

The expectation is that you become a trusted product counterpart, able to own product decisions, shape roadmap priorities, write clear requirements, drive alignment, and connect product development with commercial outcomes.

Depending on your strengths, you will focus on one of two tracks:

Track A – Monetisation & Growth Layer
You will own the revenue and campaign-delivery side of the platform, including the campaign manager, ad formats, pricing models, and distribution channels. Your work will have a clear line of sight to metrics such as CPM, fill rate, ARPU, and campaign ROI.

Track B – CDP & Data Classification Layer
You will own the audience and data-intelligence side of the platform, including audience building, data classification, segmentation, activation logic, and experimentation across sectors and verticals. Your work will contribute to improving CPA, CTR, CPL, and audience performance.

Key Responsibilities

Own the roadmap for your product layer, aligned with broader product strategy, commercial priorities, and platform direction.

Translate roadmap themes into epics, features, PRDs, MVP definitions, and engineering-ready specifications.

Define priorities based on opportunity size, revenue potential, technical readiness, partner demand, and competitive positioning.

Write clear Product Requirements Documents, including problem statements, user stories, success metrics, edge cases, and explicit out-of-scope boundaries.

Partner with architects, engineers, data scientists, and technical leads during refinement, solution design, build, QA, and release.

Own backlog quality, acceptance criteria, sprint prioritisation, and scope discipline for the initiatives under your responsibility.

Work closely with sales, partnerships, and commercial teams to translate market feedback, advertiser needs, and partner input into concrete product decisions.

Act as the product counterpart in key commercial discussions, helping explain how the platform works, what can be built, and how it can generate value.

Design and run structured product experiments, including A/B tests around ad formats, audience definitions, targeting logic, triggers, frequency caps, and conversion flows.

Build concise product narratives, sales enablement materials, partner presentations, and internal business reviews.

Use data, market insight, and commercial feedback to refine the product roadmap and improve product-market fit.

Collaborate with peer Product Managers owning adjacent platform layers to avoid duplication and ensure a coherent product direction.

To thrive in this role you would need to have

  • 4–7 years of experience in product management, with meaningful exposure to AdTech, programmatic advertising, performance marketing, CDP, attribution, audience platforms, DSP/SSP, MMP, or a related data-driven advertising domain.

  • Strong understanding of advertising and campaign performance metrics such as CPM, CPC, CPA, CTR, CPL, fill rate, frequency capping, attribution windows, viewability, segmentation, and campaign ROI.

  • A clear ownership mindset, with the ability to take responsibility for outcomes rather than simply managing tasks or coordinating delivery.

  • Proven ability to write strong PRDs, product specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering teams can execute with minimal ambiguity.

  • Commercial instinct and the ability to understand how product decisions affect revenue, campaign performance, partner adoption, and customer value.

  • Experience working closely with engineering, architecture, data, sales, operations, and external partners.

  • Comfort with ambiguity, fast-moving environments, and products where the market, process, and operating model are still being shaped.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present product decisions, MVP logic, business cases, and roadmap trade-offs to senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to build a product case around a new platform component, including why it matters, how it would work, and how it could generate revenue.

  • Solid AI awareness and the ability to understand how AI-enabled prototyping, automation, classification, or intelligence capabilities may support product development.

  • Data orientation, especially for the CDP & Data Classification track, including the ability to reason about classification logic, segmentation, audience activation, and performance validation.

  • Autonomy, maturity, and the ability to operate as a trusted right hand to product leadership.

Nice to have

Experience with privacy-preserving advertising technologies, contextual targeting, on-device ML inference, or Privacy Sandbox-related approaches.

Previous work with CDP, identity, audience, or segmentation platforms across multiple verticals.

Knowledge of MENA or CEE markets.

Experience with SMS A2P, push notification platforms, RCS, WhatsApp, or other campaign delivery channels.

Background working with SDK, platform, B2B, or B2B2C product teams.

Exposure to telecom, operator, or carrier environments.

SQL or equivalent capability for validating product hypotheses through data.

What’s in it for you

Ownership of a strategic AdTech platform layer with direct impact on revenue, campaign performance, and product direction.

The opportunity to work on a complex product combining advertising, data, machine learning, audience intelligence, and campaign delivery.

A senior product role with visibility across leadership, engineering, data, sales, partnerships, and external stakeholders.

Space to influence roadmap, product packaging, experimentation, sales enablement, and commercial validation.

Potential evolution toward broader product leadership as the product organisation grows.

Performance based compensation component.

A hands-on environment where mature product thinking, business judgement, and execution discipline are expected and valued.

If you are a Product Manager with strong AdTech understanding, commercial instinct, and the maturity to own a product layer end to end, we would be glad to discuss this opportunity with you.

Note: Only qualified candidates will be contacted for further steps.
