The company uses  innovative and advanced proprietary technologies that are developed by the internal software development team that is setting up a base in Bucharest to complete the one in Finland.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will have the chance contribute to the development and improvement up to perfection of the platform’s charger network management tools by

• Creating (coding) scalable, future-proof software products, and realistic plans towards developing them across the whole company’s  platform.

• Working with other development and business teams to ideate and develop software solutions.

• Writing technical documentation for the features you develop.

• Communicating openly and assertively , asking hard questions or expressing your opinions, providing simple instructions.

• Having enough persistence and determination: it takes a certain stubborn attitude and time to build simple solutions to complex problems. You understand well the concept of solutions that are easily maintainable, of good quality, and also scalable.

• Posting interesting things on the company’s internal technical blog.

This job is for you if  you have:

• Proven good hands-on experience with PHP and PHP frameworks

• Master of databases, solid experience with modern CI/CD systems, knowledge of cloud services

• A good understanding of event-driven architectures (Kafka knowledge is a plus), SOLID principles, test-driven approach, and MVCS architecture, microservices

• Working experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban or SAFE)

• Knowledge of front-end web development - HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, TypeScript is a must

• DevOps processes experience is a great plus

• Fluency in English as the main working language
