

Payroll Analyst (Spain)
Our partner is a well-established technology & operations center in Bucharest, part of one of the world's leading financial groups.
This position is part of the Global HR Operations Hub, responsible for providing HR services to the organization’s global subsidiaries.
Payroll is the latest process added to the team’s portfolio.
To support this, we are building a dedicated payroll team focused on ensuring a smooth transition, consistent delivery, standardization and continuous improvement, following a multi-year plan.
As a Payroll Analyst for Spain market, you will ensure delivery of pre-payroll operational processing, meant to secure an accurate input for monthly payroll.
This role best fits those candidates who feel at ease navigating into large corporate environments, finding their way and dealing with complexity and ambiguity that are inherent around large scale transformation programs.
Experience in an SSC or BPO environment, particularly with international exposure, is considered a strong advantage.
Your key responsibilities will revolve around:
Perform payroll inputs processing (medical leaves, absences, new hires, terminations) - analyze data from Workday and input it SAP & ADP (the system for payroll);
Contract generation and tracking signatures from Docusign;
Data uploads in payroll system: benefits, allowances, restaurant cards, overtime, payments in kind, etc.
Collaborate with the local teams / employees to obtain relevant data and approvals;
Administer employees' lifecycle activities ensuring documentation complies with local legislative requirements and internal policies;
Overtime process management and preparation for payroll input;
Manage international assignment cases, with a focus on elements impacting payroll;
Manage the employees' benefits enrollments and prepare input reports for payroll (checks, orders, various communications, etc);
Support in HR IT system implementation projects (Workday, Payroll, etc);
Answer written employee queries (ticketing system) related to payroll calculations, whenever these arise;
Get involved in other HR related projects (eg HR policies updates and implementation, support on new HR processes, etc).
To thrive in this role, you'll have:
2-5 years experience in a BPO/SSC, preferably in HR operations (Payroll, Time&Attendance or Hire-to-Retire HR services);
Any prior experience in running payroll operations in an international environment is an advantage;
Good experience of using SAP / ADP / Workday - is an advantage, not a must;
Any prior knowledge of Spanish payroll is an advantage (not a must)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
Attention to details;
Customer focus;
Dealing with ambiguity, adaptability, problem solving;
Fluent in Spanish & at least conversational in English.
