We are looking for a senior professional whose goal is to elevate their career by joining the Java team within one of the most important banking excellence centers in Bucharest. 

The main activity is to develop sophisticated software applications critical to the bank's global financial operations, i.e. Regulation, Compliance & Anti-Financial Crime Tech.

Your Profile

As an accomplished Java Lead, you'll thrive in a dynamic banking tech environment, steering innovative projects and mentoring top talent. Your extensive experience in banking, real-time data, and performance optimization will be pivotal.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop Java-based applications with a focus on high performance and security.

• Lead and mentor a team in a scrum of scrums environment.

• Design, document, and verify Java software components.

• Drive quality by integrating non-functional testing into the CI cycle.

• Collaborate with global teams, ensuring seamless communication and execution.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java (Java 8+), Spring framework, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.

• Experience with modern development tools (Gradle, Maven) and front-end technologies (JavaScript ES6, Angular 2+).

• Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, and GIT/BitBucket.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a high-pressure environment.

• English language proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, GraphQL, Redux, Continuous Delivery, TDD/BDD, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
