The role will be based in the Adobe Experience Manager product team. AEM is the enterprise CMS trusted by 70% of the world's top brands as the digital platform to drive their business. 

More precisely, you'll work in the team that builds components for storefront templates that AEM customers will use to enable their e-commerce operations. 

As a Software Engineer for AEM, your role will be to:

• Build powerful components for leading application features, always having in mind performance accelerators.

• You'll work with: Java 11, microservices, AWS, GraphQL, templating engines, etc.

• Work closely with other groups as well as product management to define and implement such components.

• Evaluate the current architecture, determine risks and opportunities and come up with proposal for mitigation and improvements.

• Reserach various technologies and define architectural improvements. Build prototypes or core features. 

• Drive adoption of new technologies and contribute to continuous increase of technical knowledge across engineerign teams.

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

• Solid algorithm and logical thinking, backed by an insatiable passion for computer science, OOP and Design Patterns, along with high standards of quality.

• Good knowledge of J2EE ecosystem, along with any templating engines or frameworks (such as Velocity, Thymeleaf.

• Any work experience (or personal projects) with cloud technologies, containers and orchestrators is a big plus.

• Knowledge in both building but also operating a service: CI/CD deployments, monitoring and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus), Kubernetes based deployments.

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
