As a Back end developer (mid level), you’ll help develop new web applications or transform existing ones, in a collaborative Scrum of Scrums environment. 

You'll join a mature project (Control Room) that goes through transformation (refactoring & architectural changes), thus contributing to its growth. This is a business critical app, consuming data from multiple sources and being a golden source for other major banking apps in Deutsche Bank.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Design, develop and document Java based software components in accordance with requirements specifications, functional and technical design documents.

• Build quality into the software through extensive and automated testing and continuous build.

• Participate in Source Code and Design Reviews.

• Transform requirements into Design concepts and Proof of Concepts.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues (you may be expected to pick up a rotational cycle of L3 Support activities, along with the otehr team members).

• Understand and promote best practices in engineering (clean code, Design Patterns, etc).

• Work in an Agile format, closely collaborating with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Dev team, security specialists and other groups to identify technical and functional needs.

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

• 2-3 years experience with backend programming - Java 8, OOP, Spring.

• Good knowledge of Web Technologies and Web service Security. 

• Good knowledge of ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate), Oracle Database and SQL.

• Familiar with build tools such as Gradle or Maven (not mandatory) or build automation systems such as TeamCity or UDeploy.

• Some knowledge of JavaScript, Angular JS/Angular 5

• Good level of English (verbal & written)
