Our client operates a high-security private cloud supporting defense-grade programs in a NATO context. 

The IVV ITM (Integration - Verification - Validation) team plays a central role in integrating and validating new system features, ensuring stability and compliance across critical environments in Europe.

We are looking for an IVV IT / System Test Engineer to join this team and ensure seamless integration, testing, and deployment of new releases across NATO-secured infrastructures.

You will be responsible for validating Dev team deliveries, running automated and manual test campaigns, identifying and resolving issues in collaboration with teams in France, and maintaining operational excellence in a highly regulated environment. 

Integration and commissioning activities will take place both from Bucharest and on-site in NATO facilities (the job will require travel 1-2 times / month).

Key responsibilities:

• Review and validate development deliveries against predefined acceptance criteria;

• Install and integrate new releases on reference platforms, following NATO-standard procedures;

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for new features and bug fixes;

• Analyze test results, investigate defects, and collaborate with the France-based teams to identify root causes and corrective actions;

• Monitor and report test progress, ensuring compliance with internal quality assurance standards;

• Support deployment and commissioning of software and infrastructure components in NATO environments;

• Assess system processes, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure product quality throughout the release lifecycle;

• Participate in stakeholder meetings to clarify requirements and align on business and technical expectations;

• Travel to NATO facilities for integration and deployment missions.

Required skills & experience:

• Programming & automation: Ansible, PowerShell, Python;

• CI/CD & DevOps: SonarQube, Terraform, HashiCorp Vault, Ansible Tower, Jenkins, Artifactory, GitLab;

• Virtualization: VMware vCF, SRM, Tanzu, Aria Automation, Network Insight, Log Insight, vROps;

• Networking & infrastructure: Infoblox (IPAM/DNS/DHCP), HPE OneView, HP StoreOnce;

• Backup solutions: Veeam or NetBackup;

• Testing & quality tools: DOORS, Jira, Polarion, Confluence;

• Systems: Command-line configuration and troubleshooting under Windows;

• Knowledge of IAAS and private cloud architectures;

• Understanding of code review processes and debugging methods;

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in an international context;

• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail in issue tracking and reporting;

• Ability to write clear, concise documentation and technical reports;

• Willingness to travel and work within secured NATO environments.
