HR Business Advisor

Our partner is a well-established technology & operations centre in Bucharest, part of one of the world’s leading financial groups.


This position is part of the Global HR team, which supports multiple European countries and provides end-to-end HR services to the group’s global subsidiaries.


We are looking for an HR Business Advisor who will act as a key HR business partner for senior stakeholders, ensuring strategy alignment, employee engagement, HR process ownership and continuous process improvement across the HR lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:


  • Act as a trusted advisor for business leaders and employees, providing HR guidance on policies, employee relations, and organizational processes.


  • Manage end-to-end HR processes for the assigned countries (performance management, talent reviews, comp&ben, vendor management, process compliance, operational excellence etc.)


  • Support payroll and benefits administration, ensuring data integrity and process alignment for the assigned countries.


  • Coordinate HR transitions and process improvements within the HR Hub.


  • Identify training needs and support learning and development initiatives.


  • Maintain HR systems and reports (Workday, Excel, PPT).


  • Collaborate closely with international stakeholders and act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for HR processes.




To thrive in this role, you’ll have:


  • 5+ years of experience in HR Advisory, HRBP or a generalist role, ideally in an international environment;


  • Strong understanding of HR policies and processes, employment law, and compliance (Romania or other EU countries);


  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable working in a matrix organization;


  • Strong English skills (written and spoken); other European languages are a plus.
