Genesys Specialist

Our client is a prominent player in the energy sector, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and staying on top of its digital transformation. The company is now part of the strongest regional energy groups, promising to accelerate growth and opportunities for its team.


As a Genesys Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of a local Genesys instance, following the company's spin off from the group Genesys template. 


Your role will focus on creating a solution that best fits the needs of the local business, integrating further needs.


The company owns a complex contact center ecosystem, with 100+ agents and over 100k calls per year. From a technical standpoint, there are multiple components (Genesys Engage, Genesys OnCloud, Genesys Composer, etc) and critical integrations (Salesforce and other internal systems).


The role is part of a 100+ team involved in a wide range of technology initiatives meant to improve the company's digital posture.



Your role will be to:


  • Maintain an optimal level of functionality of the current global Genesys solution (L3), while designing the blueprint for the local Genesys solution;


  • Understand any new business and regulatory requirements and work with architects and assigned integrators to secure their proper implementation;


  • Implement updates and improvements to the above mentioned Genesys components (Engage, OnCloud, Composer, IVR);


  • Act as the subject matter expert on anything Genesys related;


  • Provide training and advanced technical support to users and team members;


  • Produce documentation and technical requirements for any upcoming tender and statements of work;


  • Involved in complex troubleshooting aimed at identifying the root cause and the right technical teams for resolution (eg Infrastructure, Development, etc).



To thrive in this role, you'll need:


  • Solid experience with Genesys products (preferably Genesys Engage and Genesys Cloud) - knowledge of administering and configuring these components;


  • Overall understanding of the Genesys platform and call center processes and challenges;


  • Experience or exposure to integration projects between applications / systems;


  • A general understanding of the wider technical ecosystem is preferred - OS's (Linux), CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes & tools, cloud - these are preferred skills, but not mandatory, as long as you're open to learn on the job;


  • Continuous learner, interested to stay updated with any new developments in the field;


  • Autonomous problem solver;


  • Good project and program management skills;


  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to engage at multiple levels;


  • Good command of English;


  • Any Genesys certification is welcome, but not mandatory.
