The company uses  innovative and advanced proprietary technologies that are developed by the internal software development team that is setting up a base in Bucharest to complete the one in Finland.

As a DevOps Architect, you will have the chance contribute to the development and improvement of the platform’s charger network management tools by

• Creating scalable, future-proof DevOps platform and realistic plans towards getting them into use

• Having a tool builder mindset,  finding and implementing in production solutions that would improve performance of the platform

• Working with other development and business teams to ideate and develop software solutions.

• Writing technical documentation for the features you develop.

• Communicating openly and assertively , asking hard questions or expressing your opinions, providing simple instructions.

• Having enough persistence and determination: it takes a certain stubborn attitude and time to build simple solutions to complex problems. You understand well the concept of solutions that are easily maintainable, of good quality, and also scalable.

• Posting interesting things on the company’s internal technical blog.

To give perspective to what you’ll start working with (or will be decommissioning), our current technology stack includes:

• Gitlab for CI/CD and VCS

• Datadog for APM and Logging

• Prometheus/Grafana for metrics

• Services in AWS running on Kubernetes and ECS

• Custom TypeScript k8s microservice developer tooling tying up Krane, Stern, Telepresence, Kubectl and AWS together

• PHP 8 monolith, TypeScript based microservices, Kotlin/Swift for mobile apps and Kotlin for Kafka stream processing

• OpenAPI based tooling to facilitate typesafe machine to machine API calls and event streaming in all of our used languages

This job is for you if  you have:

• Proven track record setting up and supporting developers with best in class tools and processes - DevOps philosophy

• Good understanding of the tooling needs for monolith to microservices transition

• Great collaboration skills with multiple teams to enable continuous delivery

• Hands on scripting and setting up workflows and pipelines with our tools and building new ones

• Fluency in English as the main working language
