Our client is an international technology company listed on EURONEXT, currently operating in 15 markets (UK, Germany, Italy, France, UAE, South Africa, Nordics…), highly specialized in big data and algorithmic software engineering and supply clients of various sectors with more accessible ways to empower consumer and marketing data. 

Context

The company is investing strongly in its R&D and software development capabilities. To support and lead this investment and growth, we are looking to hire a Data Scientist who will join the R&D team to provide advanced insights about user behavior, predictive analytics, increased knowledge of performance drivers.

 Your key responsibilities will revolve around the following:

● Dive into analytics, creating and using data reports or sql queries, to understand trends and patterns across advanced metrics;

● See through the data and analyze it precisely to find appropriate conclusions and predict behavior;

● Innovate by thinking about new data points that could be used for driving performance and insights;

● Apply statistical methods creatively to measure effects of audience resonance, budget adjustments, and content performance;

● Identify trends and patterns in the advertising data, and strategically implement optimization methods to maximize ROI;

● Coming up with pragmatic solutions for complex technical challenges by thinking outside the box.

This role is for you if:

● You have relevant working experience with Data as a Scientist or advanced Analyst, preferably in a complex commercial environment;

● You have strong analytical skills and a passion for mathematics and statistics in order to solve real world problems;

● You’re actively following the new trends in AI/ML and are eager to learn;

● You're knowledgeable about:

• PostgreSQL/MS SQL server/Google Big Query;

• BI & Big Data;

• Python and/or R;

• advanced Excel (when everything else is gone);

● A positive mindset of a team player and apt communicator;

● Fluent in English.
