C++ Engineer - Airspace Protection Systems

Our partner is a global leader in aerospace and defense solutions, developing integrated systems that protect airspace from drones, ballistic missiles, and other airborne threats. 


The company is extending its Land and Air Systems department with activities around Air Mission Control one of its key global projects in the defence industry.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop new features and fix bugs in C++ applications;


  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to Agile processes;


  • Collaborate closely with other teams (Integration, Validation, System);


  • Join technical design sessions and contribute to system architecture decisions;


  • Estimate enhancement requests for prospective and existing customers;


  • Document and mentor colleagues on complex technical issues (presentations, wikis, peer sessions).



To thrive in this role, you will:


  • Have 3+ years of experience in C++ software development;


  • Be open to discovering the Command & Control (C2) domain for integrated airspace protection;


  • Be comfortable working with Linux, scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl), CI environments (e.g. Jenkins), Git, and tools like JIRA;


  • Demonstrate ability to share knowledge and mentor colleagues;


  • Communicate fluently in English, with a collaborative and growth-oriented mindset.



Nice to have:


  • Knowledge of specification writing, Bazel, Kubernetes, Docker, Design Patterns;


  • French language skills (optional).
