One of the top software products is a Remote Control application, allowing consolidated access for supporting devices and end users across a company's network and across the Internet.

As a C++ Software Engineer, you'll get involved in further developing the Remote Control product, following a very ambitious roadmap.  

You'll use the following:

• C++11 / 14, Boost, Qt, ZeroMQ, REST, websockets, Python, etc

• Development platforms - Windows | Unix (various distros) | Mac 

• Git for code versioning control

• Compile the code with a C++11 Compiler

• Make sure the code doesn't break the build done by Jenkins

• Test the product on a virtual machine infrastrcuture, using VMWare technologies;

• Interact with various services running in AWS.

In your role, you'll:

• Design, architect and build new features for the Windows / Unix / Mac platforms.

• Ensure performance, responsiveness and quality of applications;

• Work alongside three other developers (2 in RO and 1 in the Philippines) , 1 Manual QA and 1 Product Owner, following an Agile Scrumban methodology.

• Document code consistently throughout the development process;

• Write reusable, testable and efficient code;

• Proactively work to improve processes / coding standards;

To thrive in this role, you'll need to have:

• 2 - 5 years of experience in C++ programming under Windows/Linux/Mac (if you have worked with just 1 platform or 2, that's fine, you'll cover the gaps on the job);

• Knowledge of client - server applications principles;

• Good conceptual and analytical thinking;

• Proactive and positive attitude;

• Understanding of programming, networking and information security principles;

• English at an advanced level.
