Our client is a leading European electronic payment company rapidly growing its software development team in Bucharest. 

We are looking for a C/C++ Software Engineer who will contribute at  building applications that range from desktop to native mobile applications and embedded systems. 

What you will do:

·  Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable C/C++ code

·  Implement performance and quality modules

·  Identify bottlenecks, bugs and devise solutions to these problems

· You will need to closely coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure

·  Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization

What you need to bring:

·  Proficiency in C/C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification

·  Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers and algorithms

·  TCP/IP network socket communication experience

·  Knowledge of low-level threading primitives and real-time environments

·  Knowledge of writing native modules for high-level languages such as Python, Go, etc.

·  Knowledge of component data sheets and specifications

·  Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests

·  Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

·  Familiarity with continuous integration

·  Familiarity with relational databases like Oracle, SQL etc.

·  Preferably development experience with Online messaging and ISO8583 message format

·  Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments

·  Understanding of dynamic polymorphism and C/C++ specific notions such as friend classes

·  Familiarity with templating in C/C++

·  Familiarity with embedded systems design, low-level hardware interactions
