We recruit a Global Head of Cloud role `for one of our partners acting in the financial services industry. The company has 30+ billions of revenues, presence in 40+ countries, along with corporate customers ranging in the hundreds of thousands.

The company has embarked into a roadmap of migrating its entire infrastructure and portfolio of digital products into the cloud.  The transition is being coordinated from the technology hub that the company has set up in Romania.

In your capacity as Head of Cloud, you'll coordinate this migration on multiple layers: people, change & stakeholder management, technology, budgets, etc. 

Your role will be to orchestrate a transition that is understood, accepted and assimilated by the global organization, securing a smooth transition and further operation into the target architecture.

This role best fits those candidates who feel at ease navigating into large corporate environments, finding their way and dealing with complexity and ambiguity that are inherent around large scale transformation programs.

Your main responsibilities will revolve around the following:

• Define mid & long term strategy around cloud services, along with corresponding standards and solutions;

• Define the annual roadmap for migrations, with an end target of migrating all global datacenters into the cloud (AWS & Azure);

• Deliver operational excellence to all business units, once the migration is complete - production & request management;

• Adopt and run a global operating model in an ITIL and agile framework;

• Secure visibility to all stakeholders around various KPIs on quality, process, budget, availability, etc.

• Define and maintain a global Cloud service catalog, along with each market usage;

• Build and manage a high performing global cloud team - cloud engineers, system engineers, architects, etc.

• Work with local IT leadership teams to advice on cloud consumptions and make best recommendations to secure ideal cost/performance ratio.

• Renew and negotiate all cloud related contracts.

This role is for you if you have:

• A long standing professional experience in Infrastructure management;

• Exposure to large international environments in roles that included working with a diverse range of stakeholders across the board;

• Good technical skills in Infrastructure and specifically on Cloud/Hosting solutions;

• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage vertical and transversal teams;

• Solution and customer oriented mindset, supported by solid stakeholder management skills. Able to build relationship at all levels in the organization;

• Autonomous personality, fast and confident decision maker, able to inspire others.

• Fluent in English.
