We have an opportunity for an Azure Cloud Architect who will own the design and implementation of scalable, secure and reliable cloud solutions for a global organization that is building its way into the cloud, following a multi-year global roadmap.

As an Azure Cloud Architect, you'll report to the Global Head of Cloud and manage the end to end cycle of understanding business requirements, assessing technical feasibility and providing strategic guidance on cloud adoption and optimization.

Your main responsibilities will revolve around the following:

• Solution Design: translate business needs into technical solutions using Azure services, aligning with industry best practices and ensuring scalability, high availability, security and cost efficiency;

• Cloud Infrastructure Deployment: lead implementation of Azure resources and services, leveraging IaC principles and tools such as Azure Resource Manager templates or Terraform for efficient and reproducible deployments;

• Cloud Security: design and implement robust security controls (network security groups, Azure Active Directory integration, Role Based Access Control, encryption mechanisms, etc), as well as IAM policies and best practices for Data Protection and Compliance;

• Performance Optimization: fine-tune configuration for optimal performance, implement monitoring and alerting solutions to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks;

• Cost Optimization: design solutions that leverage Azure's pricing models effectively. Implement mechanisms for resource rightsizing, automated scaling and cost      governance;

• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: use services like Azure Site Recovery, backup solutions and geo redundancy to ensure critical systems and data can be recovered in the event of a failure or disaster;

• Documentation and Collaboration: document the design, create diagrams, technical specs and operational      procedures. Collaborate across teams with development, infrastructure and other stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing maintenance of the cloud environment.

This role is for you if you have:

• Solid expertise on Azure Cloud Services (IaaS, Paas and Serverless), along with hands-on experience designing and implementing such solutions;

• Experience moving workloads from On-premise to Azure Public Cloud;

• Experience with Kubernetes Architecture;

• Knowledge of CICD concepts and toolsets;

• Experience with Terraform and Azure Resource Manager;

• "Azure Solutions Architect" Certification is a must;

• Relational ease, good communicator and ability to explain and popularize cloud technology;

• Strong sense of structure and personal organization;

• A reliable team player.
