Our client is Edenred Digital Center, technology hub where digital initiatives across the business are powered up by a team of tech pros. Edenred is a leading services and payment platform, enabling employee benefits administration across 46 countries.

Context

As part of the company's digital transformation, Edenred has launched a major program to rationalize and modernize its IT infrastructure through a large scale public and private cloud migration, while restructuring and consolidating existing IT operations to create a truly global organization.

 

As a Cloud Architect, you'll be part of the Global Architecture team (reporting to Global Cloud Manager) that oversees design and migration to cloud for Edenred's business units. Moreover, Edenred is involved in various acquisitions or mergers, which require rethinking and alignment of architectures.  

 Your key responsibilities will revolve around the following:

• Define the technical base of the information systems (platforms, technologies) and the ways they integrate and communicate with the outside world;

• Follow the business strategy and align the target architecture to match such objectives;

• Ensure alignment of new projects with the target architecture;

• Maintain a central view of obsolescense, technical debt, estimating cost, risks and skills and proposing comensurate action plans;

• Chose technologies that comply with various constraints (time, cost, security, cost, etc)

• Guarantee the application of architectural best practices: documentation, continuity, security, interoperability with market standards, etc.

This role is for you if you have:

• Solid knowledge of on-premise and cloud technologies (Azure is a must, AWS is nice to have). Azure Solutions Architect Certification is a plus (but not mandatory, if backed by hands on experience).

 

• Demonstrated experience on web application architecture, be it in a formal or an informal architect role. This can expand to a larger digital architecture scope: mobile apps, API management, etc.

• Good knowledge of security standards (SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth2, basic authentication, etc);

• Any prior experience of moving work from on-prem to public or private cloud will be a strong asset.

• Exposure to multiple technologies: relational and NoSQL databases and servers, APIs (REST, SOAP), as well as any of IaaS | PaaS | SaaS models.

• Demonstrated leadership ability: vision, pragmatism, communication, listening skills, stakeholder management.

• Articulated communicator and presenter, able to efficiently convey messages to stakeholders at all levels in the company. Able to translate technical concepts into business terms to get the understanding/buy-in from non-technical stakeholders. 

• Fluent in English.
