Our client is a global leader in intralogistics solutions and material handling equipment. The company has set up a business services center in Romania that unites professionals across a wide variety of technology and operations roles.

We are now looking for a SAP BTP CAP Developer to join their central IT department, working on modern SAP applications that extend and integrate with S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop modern applications using SAP BTP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js and TypeScript;

• As part of a dedicated BTP/CAP development team, you'll focus on building extensions to S/4HANA and loosely coupled applications used by internal business users

• Create and maintain data models using Core Data Services (CDS)

• Build and extend Fiori Elements applications, with the possibility to use Freestyle UI5 where needed

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the RAP/ABAP team, to ensure seamless integration with S/4 processes and data

• Participate in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures

• Produce high-quality code, technical documentation, and unit tests, following best practices.

To thrive in this role, you will:

• Bring at least 5 years of software development experience, with a strong focus on SAP BTP CAP and related technologies;

• Have hands-on expertise in CAP/CDS development (priority skillset), with proven experience in backend services;

• Demonstrate proficiency in Fiori Elements and a good understanding of the Flexible Programming Model;

• Possess knowledge of Freestyle UI5 and ideally some exposure to ABAP RAP and S/4 data models;

• Be comfortable with JavaScript and TypeScript in a CAP context;

• Communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken, when engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
