The Senior Business Functional Analyst role is part of the Anti-Financial Crime division – in this role, you’ll focus on the development of new features for the case management application (desktop) that allows the bank’s global teams of investigators to log and follow up cases of potential frauds.

You’ll work mainly on new integrations, UI changes, workflow changes & new features that will enhance the case management tool’s business and technical performance.

Teams have recently transitioned to a full Agile (Scrum) methodology – you’ll be part of a Scrum team, working alongside development colleagues to define user stories and prioritize the sprint backlog, clarifying the business and functional requirements.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Bridge the gap between the client's needs and the technical delivery team.

• Define business, process, usability and data requirements in partnership with the users & key stakeholders.

• Create functional and non-functional documentation.

• Elaborate functional design in accordance with the defined principles, blueprints, standards, patterns, etc.

• Support the design and conceptualization of new business solution options and articulate identified impacts and risks.

• Define testing requirements including test plans, test cases, test data and review of interface testing between various applications.

• Review business facing documentation – user manuals, solution briefs, functional summaries.

• Work on data discovery, sourcing, modelling and analytics to support creation of data flows and models. This includes researching and profiling data sources in data categories of expertise.

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

• Solid analysis skills on business process modelling, use cases / user story writing, data modelling, UML.

• Experience working with business requirements through to system level functional specifications.

• Well developed analytical and problem solving  experience and ability to grasp new concepts, provide insights and solutions.

• Deep knowledge of methods and tooling for the Business Functional Analysis profession.

• Stakeholder management skills and a track record of building excellent professional relationships.

• Fluent in English.
