Business Development Manager (Services)


We're on the hunt for a Business Development Manager who knows the hunting game. Someone who can sniff out new business opportunities and close deals like a pro.

Our partner is one the largest HR groups in Romania, who’s looking to add a new talented hunter to their sales team. The company partners with a wide portfolio of companies across a number of solutions and services.


Your focus will be on expanding the portfolio of Payroll customers across various industries, with a particular focus on the Bucharest market (but not limited to it).


This role best fist those candidates who are smooth talkers, inquisitive and persistent and who have a talent for building relationships and crushing targets.




Here’s what you’ll be doing – you’re no stranger to these:


  • Hunt for new business: prospect for new clients and uncover untapped opportunities in the market, by targeting businesses who are on the lookout  for innovative payroll solutions.


  • Close those deals: Put your persuasion skills to the test as you navigate the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation. Seal the deal with confidence and finesse.


  • Build relationships that last: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and exceeding expectations at every turn. Be their trusted advisor and go-to resource for any upcoming needs or cross-selling opportunities.


  • Collaborate closely with internal teams – payroll experts, consulting, software development or marketing to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceptional client satisfaction.


  • Stay ahead of the game: Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Stay one step ahead of the competition by constantly innovating and adapting your approach to meet the evolving needs of your clients.


  • Crush your targets: Set ambitious sales targets for yourself and go after them with relentless determination. Track your progress, celebrate your victories, and learn from your defeats.


  • Grow your network: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the brand and generate leads.



What you need to succeed in this role?

  • Proven track record: You're a sales champ with a track record of success in services sales. No previous experience in HR or payroll is needed, but if you have it, we’ll be even happier.


  • Natural closer: You know how to charm your prospects, overcome objections, and seal the deal in style.


  • Avid learner: You have a thirst for knowledge and are always eager to learn. You're open to diving deep into the intricacies of the payroll game, understanding its nuances and mastering the ins and outs to better serve your clients.


  • Relationship builder: You're a people person with a gift for building rapport and forging strong, lasting relationships. Clients trust you and they know that you'll go the extra mile to ensure their success.
