Business Analyst (Salesforce)

Our client is a prominent player in the energy sector, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and staying on top of its digital transformation. The company is now part of the strongest regional energy groups, with an ambition to accelerate growth and opportunities for its team.

As a Business Analyst, you'll focus on developing a stand alone local instance of Salesforce CRM, as the company is spinning off from the prior global template.

The company has been using the global Salesforce template for the last 2 years. Moving on, the local business will have the autonomy to build a local backbone that best serves the business and regulatory needs of a very dynamic energy industry.

The role is part of a 100+ team involved in a wide range of technology initiatives meant to improve the company's digital posture.

Alongside other BA and PM colleagues, you'll bridge the business needs and development capabilities, continuing a roadmap that spans Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud, alongside a number of critical integrations with the company's other systems.

Your role will be to:

  • Liaise with business stakeholders in Sales & Marketing divisions to perform requirements analysis and prioritize initiatives;

  • Work with the Solution and Technical Architects to draft and clarify the solution design;

  • Create the implementation plan for functional development projects, keeping an end-to-end responsibility on the Salesforce initiatives under your care;

  • Work with the local developers and third party vendors to monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects;

  • Get involved in the UAT process;

  • Contribute in building strategies and technology roadmap.

To thrive in this role, you'll demonstrate:

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce functionalities - custom objects, page layouts, custom tabs and fields, validation rules, approval process and flow for automation of business processes;

  • Previous experience in a large Salesforce implementation, ideally in a business analyst or project manager role with exposure to business stakeholders;

  • An ability to utilize Salesforce features and functionalities to solve business problems and propose process improvements;

  • Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills;

  • Strong command of English;

  • Any Salesforce certification is welcome, but not mandatory.

Why you should consider this role?

  • You'll join a leading player in the energy field at a time of transformation and re-engineering, revealing plenty of development opportunities for your career;

  • Your package will include: attractive salary, meal vouchers, bonuses (fixed and performance based), significant rebates with a network of partners;

  • You'll work in a very flexible hybrid model (60% at home), allowing you full benefits of working with others and remote individual focus.
