RPA Expert

Our client is a German company that provides specialized machining solutions, part of one of the largest industrial groups in the world. As they are now engaged on a strategic roadmap of digital transformation, they need an RPA Expert to complete the team.


The company offers an exciting digital arena, where customer focus, new challenges, innovation, collaboration and a diverse setup are part of the culture. The job will be remote mostly, but regular business trips to the German headoffice are needed.


As an  RPA Expert you will join the CIO Office & Automation team, to support the development of low-code and automation solutions with the help of a diverse tech stack and explore new opportunities with AI capabilities.


Your job consist of:


  • Managing the demands for process automation requirements based on the technology stack Blue Prism RPA/UIPath (robotic process automation) and Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps.


  • Designing concepts, proposing, implementing solutions to support the processes.


  • Engaging and coordinating externals partners (e.g. developers) to deliver and run the solutions for business and IT functions.


  • Driving continuous improvement, exploring and leveraging new and best practices for the given technology stack + new innovations in the area of AI.


  • Training and challenging business and IT partners to leverage the best of the technology stack, to generate business value and accelerate innovation.


  • Proactively monitoring the processes and solutions. Initiating mitigation actions, analyzing the root causes, implementing and deploying the solutions.


This role is for you if you have:



  • very good technical skills in Microsoft Power Apps, and at least one of the following Microsoft Power Automate or Blue Prism RPA or UIPath.


  • very good business process expertise, with ease in  understanding them, identifying challenges, opportunities and deriving optimal solutions. Wearing a business analyst hat will help you in performing the job.


  • good skills in documenting processes and solutions.


  • ability to cooperate closely with business and IT stakeholders in a cross-cultural international environment.


  • a strong experience in the area o process automation or low-code (ideally 3-5 years).


  • completed business or IT technical education.


  • a strong command of English. Advanced German would be a plus.


  • You are a team-player, an assertive communicator, organized and analytical.


  • You are open for business travelling.
