Our client is Edenred Digital Center, technology hub where digital initiatives across the business are powered up by a team of tech pros. Edenred is a leading services and payment platform, supporting employee benefits administration across 46 countries.

Edenred's prepaid cards (employee benefits such as meal vouchers or gifts ofefred by employers) become powerful digital payment tools. They are to meant to simplify the way employees use their benefits to make rapid and useful purchases.

An API development team has been setup in Romania to integrate the global or country specific Edenred cards with other global or local apps such as UberEats, Deliveroo, etc.

As an API developer, you'll be part of a global team that uses Mulesoft as a powerful integration platform to develop such API's and connect the company's products to other top apps and services in the world.

 

 

Your main responsibilities will revolve around the following:

• You'll be part of the end-to-end work around design - development - rollout and support of worldwide API's that will be used by millions of people every day.

• You'll work with multiple groups within and outside the company: security, operations, software and business teams in charge of applications consuming these APIs. 

• You'll work with large volumes of data and will keep a close eye on performance and optimization of APIs.

This role is for you if you have:

• 2+ years of experience writing Java code;

 

• At least 1 year of RESTful APIs design and/or implementation;

• Knowledge of OpenAPI (Swagger) and/or Mulesoft (RAML). Knowledge of Mulesoft is nice to have, but not mandatory - you'll be able to learn the technology on the job;

• Postman, UML, Git and unit tests;

• Fluent in English.
