Our client is a global leader in intralogistics solutions and material handling equipment, who are currently expanding their central IT department. 

The company is in the middle of a major S/4HANA greenfield project, following a strict Clean Core approach and a Fiori-first strategy, using the latest SAP technologies.

We are recruiting a SAP ABAP Clean Core Developer to join the project.

The role best  matches those ABAP Developers who wants to work with evolved SAP tools, in a large international team, and contribute to high-impact solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance secure, high-performance business applications in S/4HANA, using RAP and Fiori Elements, in full compliance with Clean Core guidelines.

• Extend standard S/4 processes through approved extensibility options (public APIs, extension points).

• Participate in solution design and software architecture (depending on seniority level).

• Execute unit tests, maintain and extend existing applications, and ensure high-quality technical documentation.

• Collaborate closely in Agile/Scrum teams with developers, product owners, and stakeholders across Europe.

To thrive in this role, you will:

• Have hands-on experience with RAP services and Fiori Elements, as these are the main focus areas in ongoing projects.

• Have a solid understanding of ABAP Cloud and be comfortable working under strict Clean Core enforcement.

• Demonstrate strong skills in CDS (Core Data Services) for data modeling and querying in S/4HANA.

• Be proficient in working with public APIs and extension points, ensuring system enhancements without core modifications.

• Be a team player with strong communication skills, comfortable working in an international setup.

• Be fluent in English (German is a plus).
