As a Software Engineer for the Analytics platform, your role will be to:

​

• Work on developing new features of an Analytics platform that processes data in the range of trillions of signals, identifying patterns and user buying behaviors;

​

• You’ll be mainly involved in bringing the application into production - your focus will be to operationalize the "secret sauce" of the Big data team and integrate it in production;

​

• You'll work with a plethora of technologies (that you can learn on the job): Java, Scala, Python, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Spark & DataBricks, HBase & Hadoop, My SQL, AWS, Azure etc.

​

• You’ll cover an on call rotation in case major outages occur outside of business hours.

​

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

​

• Solid algorithm and logical thinking, backed by an insatiable passion for computer science, OOP and problem solving skills

​

• Solid knowledge of Java – technologies, frameworks, Java web application servers

​

• Any experience (or personal projects) with cloud technologies, containers and orchestrators

​
