

Java Engineer
Our partner develops a web based freemium SaaS consumer platform that supports content broadcasting, live streaming, financial transactions, critical security, optimization for heavy traffic / heavy load.
As a Java Engineer, you’ll be involved in rewriting the back end code towards a more modern architecture, as well as creating new functionalities. Your impact will spread from writing clean and maintainable code to deploying it in production, following performance and stability criteria. You’ll also contribute to load balancing configurations, distributed servers and replicated databases.
The tech stack you’ll be working with: Java (8 or 14, depending on the service), Spring, Hibernate, MySQL, various NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Neo4J, etc), RESTful APIs, microservices.
This role is for you if:

You're a Java addict (min. 8) and you feel confident you can cover the tech stack above. This means having tried your hands (at work or on pet projects) using some of these technologies.

You have a logical thinking and problem solving abilities.

You love writing high quality code and have been involved in developing data intensive web apps. You understand that your role doesn’t end once your code is in production – you continue to own it and support any outages with fault isolation and resolution.

You have experience with application servers.

Any experience with Wowza streaming engine or Firebase are nice to have but not mandatory, as long as you’re keen to learn and adapt.
