As a IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will provision, maintain, and optimize new and existing elements in a virtualized, microservices infrastructure.

​

This role best fits those candidates who have solid technical grounds, who are resilient and adaptable in speaking and working with various categories of stakeholders. Those experienced infrastructure specialists who keep their cool when ambiguity arises are more likely to be successful in this role.

This role is for you if you have:

​

• Solid knowledge of Virtualized Environments and containerization (e. g., VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes)

​

• Solid skills in installing, configuring and operating Linux environments (CentOS/RedHat, Debian) and Windows servers

​

• Good knowledge of security procedures including operating systems (Unix/Linux/ Microsoft) protection

​

• Experience on network related services (DNS, email, Active Directory, SMB, DHCP, NTP, FTP, SSH, etc.)

​

• Experience using monitoring applications:  Nagios, Prometheus

​

• Very good skills on shell scripting

​

• Experience using Ansible or related

​

• Good knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)

​

• At least 3 years work experience in same position

​

• Technical Bachelor degree (IT)

​

• At least one certification: Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems or networking, storage, virtualization, servers.

​

Your main responsibilities will revolve around the following:

 

• Provide support and work on continuous improvement process by analyzing recurrent incidents and designing long term solutions

​

• Work with Engineers and Architects on systemic issues 

​

• Recommend procedures and controls for problem resolution or create temporary solutions

​

• Participate in testing efforts. and provides feedback on test results

• ​

• Report security issues when appropriate. Analyze audit trails to detect security violations

​

• Make recommendations to improve security

​

• Implement back-up and disaster recovery plans

​
