Infrastructure Specialist / Database Administrator

Our client is an European company with offices in Bucharest, that provides software solutions to the financial services industry across the globe. With a 2 digit history of success, is spans from risk management solutions to Oracle implementations (OFSAA) for major banks in the world.

As the company is expanding its customer portfolio, the team will grow with an Infrastructure Specialist who will define and operate database infrastructures to support large scale international Oracle implementations.

​

As an Infrastructure Specialist, your role is to:

​

  • Install, configure and maintain Oracle databases, other Oracle products ​(ODI, OBIEE, Oracle Weblogic, etc)

​

  • Install, configure and maintain Linux servers (virtual machines), application servers, operating systems - previous experience is optional;

​

  • Evaluate technical issues, test, maintain, integrate, monitor and ensure to automate software systems

​

  • Work on diverse international projects in various stages of implementations

​

​​

​

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

​

  • Experience with Oracle products (min. Oracle database) installation/patching, maintenance, operation support

​

  • Web server (Oracle Weblogic / IBM Websphere / Apache Tomcat) experience is an advantage

​

  • Motivation to expand your knowledge beyond the database area, growing towards larger infrastructure knowledge.​

​

  • Any DWH or OFSAA project experience is a plus (but not mandatory)​

​

  • Strong sense of ownership, problem solving, logical thinking, effective communication skills

​

  • At least medium level of English

​

​
