This is even more powerful when access to cloud platforms is simplified and federated.
As a Software Engineer for the Identity platform, your role will be to:

Design a system that scales with the business needs, enabling million of users to access the system. You'll use best in class technologies and your problem solving skills to find innovative solutions to complex problems.

Code for high scalability, elastic infrastructure, zero downtime, multi-region, multi-cloud, millisecond level response times.

You'll work with a plethora of technologies: Java, SpringBoot, Spring Cloud Gateway, Kotlin, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, Cassandra, MySQL, Redis, Memcached, Apache Pulsar, Terraform, Chef, Prometheus, Grafana, CDNs, etc. All combined in a superb microservices architecture. You don't need to have experience with all of these. We don't expect you to know all these tech, but to have the right problem solving skills that will put technology at best use.

Research various technologies and define architectural improvements - prototypes or core features.

Drive adoption of new technologies and contribute to the continued upskilling of the engineering team.

Contribute to the definition of the service architecture - a truly Internet-scale and web-forward architecture.
To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
-
Solid algorithm and logical thinking, backed by an insatiable passion for computer science, OOP and Design Patterns.

Solid knowledge of J2EE ecosystem – technologies, frameworks, Java web application servers

Any work experience (or personal projects) with cloud technologies, containers and orchestrators is a big plus (AWS in particular)

Linux configuration and administration knowledge is a big plus (but not mandatory)

Strong knowledge on System Scalability, Availability & Performance
-
Solid foundation in software engineering process & best practices (unit testing, build automation, continuous integration, etc).
