

Head of HR
Our client is a world class leading gaming group that is setting up a new software development and operations hub in Bucharest. The Romanian hub will have technical and delivery responsibility for one of the company's core products (live dealer).
The Head of HR will work with the leadership team of the center to build a strong team and a culture where like-minded software professional will thrive. The role will have full accountability for all HR functions, with an initial focus on scaling up the team through talent acquisition - the purpose is to reach a headcount of 50-80 in the first 6 months.
The role requires leadership and stakeholder management skills, coupled with proven experience in growing and maintaining high performing teams.
As a Head of HR, your role will be to:

Build the culture - work with the General Manager and the Head of Technology to identify and drive adoption of values and behaviors that will further define the company's culture. Globally, the company is recognized for its care for people and many times awarded as Best place to work.

Build the team - the company is planning a rapid (6 months) ramp-up to 50-80 software professionals who need to focus on the product migration and re-engineering in the gaming & live casinos industry.

Build and coordinate an HR team to cover all HR functions and office administration - Comp & Ben, Health & Safety, HR Ops, Training & Development, HR Systems & tools, as well as other people initiatives.

Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.

Collaborate with Regional leadership on regional HR initiatives rollout and HR metrics reporting.
To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

Experience as an HR professional in an IT / software development organization.

Relevant experience in running an HR function and working with top leadership teams.

Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations in Romania, along with best people practices.

Self starter and positive mindset.

Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, aligning their goals and outputs.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Fluent in English.
