

Functional Analyst | Bucharest
Our partner is a well reputed software development center, part of one of the world’s largest banking groups. The hub operates across various programs, delivering technology products which support the banking verticals. It expands year on year, leading the bank's digital transformation and promoting its supremacy in front of its customers.

The Functional Analyst role is part of the Treasury team, focusing on development of bespoke software platforms such as: Reporting Platform to support the daily stress testing and liquidity management functions or a web-based Portfolio Management system.
​
This role is ideal for a Functional Analyst with solid financial domain knowledge, and a particular interest in Treasury business.
​

Your key responsibilities will be to:
​

Bridge the gap between the client's needs and the technical delivery team.
​

Get involved at all stages of the software development lifecycle, from initial scoping and planning exercises through to the detailed analysis and collaboration with the IT team
​

Work with the Treasury team, Treasury operations, IT project Manager, other BAs or FAs, vendors' technical teams to deliver the project.
​

Challenge, capture and articulate requirements according to the methodology and quality standards operating in the team.
​

Defining and refining business cases.
​

Manage the product backlog to ensure priorities are agreed and clear with Treasury.
​

Proactive in identifying cost effective solutions to business problems.
​

Assisting and supporting QAT and UAT.
​

Mediate and resolve issues as and when they arise.
​

Keep aware of the latest industry trends and best practice in order to improve the team.
​
​
To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
​

Solid analysis skills on business process modelling, use cases / user story writing, data modelling, UML.
​

Stakeholder management skills and a track record of building excellent professional relationships.
​
-
Previous Financial Domain experience is a plus, as well as understanding of financial products and high-level risk assessment principles.
​

Comfortable working with remote client and vendor resources.
​

Keen to learn new technologies and to expand business domain knowledge
​

Excellent problem solving skills

Fluent in English
