Our client is an European company with offices in Bucharest, that provides software solutions to the financial services industry across the globe. With a 2 digit history of success, is spans from risk management solutions to Oracle implementations (OFSAA) for major banks in the world.

As the company is expanding its customer portfolio, the team will grow with a Database Administrator / Architect who will define and operate infrastructures to support large scale international Oracle implementations.

​

As a DBA, your role is to:

​

• Install, configure and maintain and troubleshoot Oracle databases

​

• Install, configure and maintain ​Linux servers (virtual machines), application servers, OS and multiple Oracle products (Oracle database & more)

​

• Deal with Oracle DB performance tunings, capacity and accessibility issues

​

• Evaluate technical issues, test, maintain, integrate, monitor and ensure to automate software systems

​

• Work on diverse international projects in various stages of implementations

​

​

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

​

• Experience with Oracle products (min. Oracle database) installation/patching, maintenance, operation support

​

• Experience with Linux Red Hat (ideal, but not mandatory)

​

• Knowledge and experience working with Web servers (Oracle Weblogic / IBM Websphere / Apache Tomcat) is an advantage

​

• Any DWH or OFSAA project experience is a plus (but not mandatory)​

​

• Strong sense of ownership, problem solving, logical thinking, effective communication skills

​

• At least medium level of English

​
